A large museum chronicling the history of Las Vegas and the surrounding area. There are both permanent and visiting exhibitions plus a full street scene with fully restored houses, businesses, and a train depot and train. There's also a miniature nature walk with more relics from days gone by.

Is it worth the cost? |

It's only $2, what are you? Crazy? It's absolutely worth it. Even those of you who wouldn't consider a museum will probably enjoy this one.

What else do I need to know?

|
You'll need a rental car or cab to get here - it's quite far from The Strip. Plus, this is best visited during the spring or fall. It's too hot during the summer to get the full appreciation of the outdoor portions of the museum.
