| What Is It? |
A ride in a real gondola through the fake canal of the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian or the equally fake outdoor canals in front of the hotel. A singing gondolier takes you on the short trip up and down the mall or around the canals out front while all of the rest of the tourists stand along the canals and take pictures of you to show the neighbors when they get home.

Is it worth the cost? |
At $16 per head it's pretty expensive but it is a one of a kind experience for Las Vegas and it is certainly a lot cheaper than the real thing.

What else do I need to know?
Since the canal wanders through the center of the mall and along The Strip you'll have lots of people watching you. A private, romantic ride is out of the question unless you pay the extra cash for the private gondola. Same-day reservations are required.

What's the bottom line?
Great, silly Las Vegas fun.
