Just before the implosion. If you look closely you can see the Westin hotel tower just behind the smaller concrete tower that used to be the Bourbon Street hotel. The brightly lit sign just to the right is for Battista's Hole in the Wall Italian restaurant and the dark thing that bisects the photo are the monorail tracks.
Again, you have to look closely but if you look just below the monorail tracks and just above the white sign you can see a plume of dust emerging from the base of the Bourbon Street hotel tower. Trust me, it's there.
Nothing but dust.
More dust.
The next day: rubble.
