    Questions:

  • Where can I find cheap eats in Vegas?

Question: Where can I find cheap food like in the old days of Vegas?

Answer: You can still get some cheap eats in Vegas but they are fewer and farther between than they used to be. Exact prices and menus change often so it is impossible to give you an exact road map to inexpensive food, but there are some tricks to the process that make it possible.

If you have transportation, get off The Strip. Go to the hotels in the Downtown area or out on Boulder Highway. These are the places that often offer really deep discounts on dining to lure the locals out of their homes.

But if you're stuck on The Strip, look for the less expensive hotels and you're likely to find less expensive food. It sounds simple, but lots of people are shocked when they pay $10 for a sandwich at Bellagio and they shouldn't be - that's a very expensive hotel. Try places like the Sahara, Tropicana, Imperial Palace, Riviera, or Circus Circus. You can also visit our Dining Section and view the restaurants we recommend by price.
