    Question: Is prostitution legal in Las Vegas?

    Answer: In a word, no.

    Prostitution is legal in Nevada only in counties with populations of less than 200,000, which of course excludes Clark County where Las Vegas is located. In those smaller counties, prostitution is only legal in the state run and licensed brothels, so common streetwalker types are still breaking the law.
