Summary
This inexpensive Mexican diner is a favorite among locals - and for good reason.
Menu
If you're looking for something new and exciting in a Mexican restaurant you aren't going to find it here. The menu features the basics: enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and, of course, their signature tamales. But the big crowds that always seem to be here don't come for some new experience - they come for the food, which is hearty and delicious. We were particular fans of the fajitas, which to the naked eye didn't appear to be much different than what you'd find anywhere else, but the taste proved they were. Portions are huge, by the way.
Atmosphere
The food is so good here that we're willing to forgive them the somewhat stereotypical Mexican restaurant décor (tiles, quilts, clay pots, etc.).
Service
Excellent and extremely friendly.
Price
Maybe a little more expensive than Taco Bell but not by much!
What Else Do I Need To Know?
This place is not for the diet conscious as they use heavy sauces and lots of lard in their cooking. But who cares? This is Vegas! You can't eat healthy in Vegas!
