Summary
|
|
Hollywood memorabilia and madness in an over-the-top environment. Oh, and they serve food.
Menu
As with most theme restaurants you've got the typical burgers, sandwiches, and salads but Planet Hollywood offers a variety of unique entrees, most notably their Cap'n Crunch Chicken - chicken coated in the popular cereal. Nothing here is worth writing home about but it is all solid American food.
Atmosphere
The movie and celebrity memorabilia is the real reason people come to this place and this one doesn't disappoint. In the past I have seen everything from the "I Dream of Jeannie" Genie's bottle to the jacket Ah-nold wore in "Terminator 2." Having lived and worked in Hollywood for years I'm a little cynical about this kind of stuff but I know that a lot of people are still impressed by it.
Service
Most of the staff is pleasant and efficient.
Price
As with most theme restaurants you're going to pay too much for the food here, but if you are a hardcore movie junkie it may very well be worth the roughly $20-30 per person.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
You'd think Planet Hollywood restaurant would be in the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Not so much.
