Vegas4Visitors Museum: Paris Las Vegas

Paris Las Vegas opened in 1999, one of the last major "themed" resorts that were all the rage in Las Vegas at the time. Featuring nearly 3,000 rooms and replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe (among others), the hotel was an instant success and became profitable in its first year in operation (almost unheard of in Las Vegas).

    1999 Pre-Opening Poster
This poster was published while the hotel was under construction, distributed mainly to people in the travel industry as a way of promoting the upcoming resort. It features a large photograph of a model of the property along with some basic information about the details: 85,000 square-foot casino, roof-top pool, 50-story scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, 2,916 guest rooms, etc.).
