Paris Las Vegas has never had a proper nightclub. Yes, there was Risque, but that was more of an ultralounge space and compared to the insanely popular (and sometimes downright insane) nightclubs at other hotels it didn't even register a blip on the radar.
Chateau seeks to change all that, making not only a splash but a statement by putting itself right out on The Strip for all to see.
Unlike most hotel nightclubs, this one has an entrance from The Strip so you don't have to go through the hotel if you don't want to. It's certainly one of the most convenient, which can be good if you're walking there in 4-inch stilettos and a really tight dress. Not that I'd know what that's like, mind you. Well... once... but I was really drunk.
Anyway... There's a big outdoor space above the Sugar Factory restaurant that has a bar, lots of lounging space, and its own sound system and DJ. It's a great place to watch the Bellagio Fountains across the street. It's open during the day as a Beer Garden and serves a pub menu as well.
The main nightclub inside is tall and narrow, which means you're going to have to look up if you want any sense of personal space. The layout causes some traffic jams but that's really no different than any other nightclub in town. The room has a vaguely French design with a big fireplace at the dance floor and a few other touches but most of that fades into the background once the place gets jumping. There are multiple bars and plenty of VIP booths but no seating unless you are getting bottle service.
The club has a good energy to it, but it feels a little less insane than some of the most popular clubs in town, which I think is a good thing.
