    Share Nightclub: Full Review
Most gay nightclubs in Las Vegas fall into one of two categories: upscale, high-energy dance clubs that draw a lot of their clientele from tourists and the Average Joe bars that are populated mostly by locals.

Share is an interesting hybrid of the two, merging a luxurious package with a friendly, low-pressure atmosphere that should appeal to both residents and visitors alike.

Getting there is a bit of a challenge if you are driving yourself but let the cab driver do the work and it should be fine. Located off of Tropicana Avenue, near the Orleans Hotel & Casino, the building is tucked away on a dimly lit side street in a mostly industrial part of town. As you approach you'll be thinking you can't possibly be in the right place but just look at it as being the best kept gay secret in town.

It used to be an upscale strip club so the space itself is definitely on the fancy side of things. Downstairs is one big room with multiple bars, lots of seating (tables are for everyone unless someone buys bottle service and then you have to move), VIP cabanas, a large dance floor, a stage for various forms of entertainment (there was a lip-syncing drag queen on the night I visited), and, owing to its former strip club roots, plenty of smaller stages and stripper poles for the tanned and toned male dancers to gyrate upon.

Upstairs is a lounge area with a bar, more seating, and several semi-private VIP booths, in which you can book some 1:1 time with one of the tanned and toned male dancers. Although not specifically a strip club, the dancers will - um - "entertain" you in strip club worthy fashion.

Although the club obviously caters to gay men, there were plenty of women (gay and straight) on the night I visited. It's definitely a come-as-you-are kind of atmosphere - I saw everything from fancy club wear to jeans and t-shirts.

The prices are about what you'd expect for a club like this in Vegas (meaning expensive), although check their website before visiting for the various specials they run. Although they may change from time to time I saw offers that included waiving the cover charge and $5 drinks.

Most gay visitors to Vegas will usually go to Krave at Planet Hollywood because its convenient or the cluster of bars near the Hard Rock Hotel known as the Fruit Loop. (Don't blame me - I didn't come up with the nickname). Going to Share requires a bit more effort and you can't walk to other nightclubs once you get there, but the infectious energy of the place, the friendly staff, and the eye candy dancers will probably make you forget you ever wanted to go anywhere else.
