    Swingers Club: The Low Down
    What Is It?
A bar at The Plaza hotel in Downtown Las Vegas that has dueling pianos, live entertainment, and a nine-hole miniature golf course. No, I'm not kidding.
What Kind of Crowd Does It Draw?
The crowd trends a little older and is definitely raucous, especially when the dueling pianos are up and running.
    What Are the Prices Like?
Very affordable. You won't pay more than $10 for a drink unless you are ordering top shelf.
When is the Best Time To Go?
Nights 9pm to 2am when the piano players are working the crowd.
    Why Should I Go Here?
Because you want an affordable drink, like pianos, and want to play a round of golf.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
They have a DJ late nights on Fridays and Saturdays.

    Swingers Club: Full Review
When it came to nightlife, Downtown Las Vegas used to be good for one thing: cheap drinks that often came in gigantic souvenir cups that you downed while watching the Fremont Street Experience.

But over the last couple of years, interesting bars and clubs have been popping up trying to fill a much needed void between the high-cost, high-attitude hot spots on The Strip and the tourist trap watering holes around the city.

Swingers Club fits neatly into that gap, offering up a fun, lively, no-pressure attitude and a few unique touches to set it apart from the competition.

It's located at the Plaza hotel at the end of Fremont Street, added in 2011 as part of that property's multi-million dollar renovation. The brainchild of local hypnotist Anthony Cools, Swingers is part bar, part entertainment venue, and part miniature golf course. What did you think Swingers meant?

The space is relatively compact, long and narrow, with a stage and dueling pianos at one end, a bar in the center, and some tables for Beer Pong style drinking games at the other end. Décor is fairly minimalist but what there is pays homage to Vegas of yore with pictures and memorabilia from historic Sin City casinos and hotels.

Wrapping around the edges of the club is a nine-hole miniature golf course. Why? Why not! The course is pretty simple - probably better that way for people who are drinking - although the "Haunted Hole" designed by local magician the Amazing Johnathan has spooky fun props and a bit of a challenge.

The club has entertainment nightly including live musical acts, dueling pianos, and late night DJs on the weekends. There is never a cover charge and drinks are pretty cheap. Normal prices for bottles of domestic beer and well drinks are in the $5-8 range but they usually have specials on drafts and other libations that are terrific bargains compared to the $15 drinks on The Strip.

And if you really want a souvenir cup, you can get one on the Fremont Street Experience outside.
