What Is It?
|
|
An 18-hole, par-71 golf course with a rich Las Vegas history. There is a pro-shop, a practice facility, and more.
Where Is It?
A couple of miles east of The Strip, not too far from The Las Vegas Hilton.
Is It Worth the Cost?
Greens fees are relatively reasonable, especially for a course this good. And Vegas history buffs should absolutely make the pilgrimage.
Why Should I Go Here?
It's centrally located, is a pretty challenging course, and again... the history.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
The course originally opened in 1961 as the golf club for the classic Stardust hotel. During the 1960s it was a regular hangout for The Rat Pack and other major celebrities of the era. It was later affiliated with the Sahara and Las Vegas Hilton hotels.
What's the Bottom Line?
A Vegas classic that every Vegas golfer should play at least once.
