When rocker Rod Stewart did 2 weeks of shows at Caesars Palace in early 2011 it was rumored to be a test run for a possible long-term residency. Turns out the rumors were true.
The singer best known for hits like "Maggie May," "This Old Heart of Mine," and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy," is now in residence at Caesars Palace for at least two years, doing a grand total of about 50 shows.
The first block of shows started in August 2011 with additional dates to be announced later.
